What is the UK Cities House Price Index?

The UK house price index collects and captures changes and fluctuations in the value of residential properties in the UK over time. The house price index collects the sales data on housing transactions, either case or a mortgage, each property is included since 1995. This information and data is useful to homeowners and buyers to understand where in the UK it is the most expensive, cheapest location or growing locations, based on price. Considered one of the most accurate house price indexes to collect data is from land registry combined now with ONS.
